Udaan currently focuses on health-related projects and closely works with the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) and other line departments to provide prevention, care, support, and treatment services. We also support communities in accessing social welfare schemes provided by local bodies, State and Central Governments.

GHAR & VIHAAN: Targets to improve the quality of life of People Living with HIV/AIDS
Drop-in-centres are set up for People Living with HIV (PLHIV) and other members from socially stigmatized communities at Ghatkopar and Goregaon in Mumbai and Panvel in Raigad.
Through our drop-in-centres at Ghatkopar and Goregaon and Panvel (Raigad), we reach out to 37,000+ PLHIV. They are linked to various government social protection and welfare schemes, and to avail of a few life-saving medicines from government hospitals across the state.
RAHI, PRAVASI, PRABHAT, SAKSHAM: Targets to reduce STI/HIV/AIDS infections amongst migrants
The project focuses on STI and HIV prevention activities. More than 75,000 migrant populations in Mumbai (Pravasi-Goregaon, Rahi-Ghatkopar), Thane (Prabhat-Bhiwandi), and Raigad (Saksham-Panvel) have been provided information on HIV and STI preventions, referrals for screening of STI and HIV, and treatment for the same.
The project also provides information on safe sexual health practices through IEC and condom promotion
‘SAHIDISHA’ and ‘RAKSAHK’
The project works on Prevention of STI/HIV among Transgenders & MSM in Pune district. The services are provided through safe spaces—one in the heart of Pune city (PMC area) and in Pimpri (PCMC area) to 1,400 MSM/TGs across the twin cities.
