B PRABUVARA KUMAR (President)
B Prabuvara Kumar formed an MSM support group way back in the 1990s when the world of MSM had been untouched. He has more than 35 years of community networking experience and expertise in MSM community dynamics. Being the senior and most important person in the community, he has expertise in all areas related and pertaining to the MSM community.
G PRASHANTH KUMAR (Vice President)
A pioneer for sexual health and HIV/AIDS projects in the state of Telangana and the erstwhile united state of Andhra Pradesh, he worked at the state and national levels to ensure social justice to the community. As a Volunteer supporting DARPAN, he has about 25 years of experience working with the community and understanding the dynamics and issues though working in the IT Sector for his living.
SAIMON BANDELA (General Secretary)
Saimon Bandela is a founding member of DARPAN Foundation. He now serves as the Secretary helping the PLHIVMSM, TG community to access health services easily at Government hospitals and ART centers; supporting them in opening their bank accounts, Aadhar card, PAN card, and passport and in their gender and name changing process. He also supports them by linking the PLHIV community with Government loans schemes and other facilities.
Dr PRACHI RATHOD (Joint Secretary)
A trans woman, Dr Prachi Rathod works as a Medical Officer in India’s first comprehensive transgender clinic, Mitr clinic Narayanaguda Hyderabad, and has been associated with Darpan Foundation for 7 years. As the Joint Secretary of DARPAN Foundation, she is making health services for the MSM and transgender community easily accessible. She is also making all efforts possible to create a safe and discrimination-free environment, providing HIV and non-HIV-related services to the community through a single-window approach.
PILLI SANTOSH KUMAR (Treasurer)
Pilli Santosh Kumar has over 25 years of experience in pioneering MSMCBO in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana along with Counseling, Management, Development, and Coordination of services in a Community-Led Intervention for the prevention of HIV/AIDS and strategic planning of the organization for effective implementation of the programmes. He has also partnered with multiple donor agencies for evaluation, training, and mentoring and is currently heading DARPAN and regularly providing support and mentoring as the Project Director.
ROHITH MOHITHE (Executive Member)
He is associated with Darpan Foundation for the past 10 yrs and is now the Executive Board Member. A Gay himself, Rohit Mohite is making all efforts possible to ensure health services to the MSM and LGBTQ community are easily accessible and discrimination-free.
K. SRINIVASULU (Executive Member)
K. Srinivasulu is a community member of MSM and T.G. Project in DARPAN Foundation and is associated with it for the past 15 years. He ensures that MSM and Trans people get easy access to health services, stands with them in a crisis situation, and sees that they get their social entitlements.
